About Crane Lake

Conveniently located at the crossroads of the Voyageur National Park to the west, the BWCA to the east and Ontario to the north, Crane Lake is 3,000 acres in size. Crane Lake and the surrounding lakes offer excellent fishing opportunities and has a good native fishery of walleye, smallmouth bass, crappie and northern pike.

Any time of the day or season is perfect on Crane Lake

The lake itself connects with other larger border lakes for more good fishing and recreation opportunities. These lakes include Sand Point lake, Namakan Lake, Lake Kabetogama, Little Vermilion Lake, Loon Lake and Lac La Croix.
